Where do we start?
It is important to understand that they are labels in order to make the correct use of these.
Labels are words created manually by the user and serve to help differentiate a particular group of contacts so that we can send communications only to that particular group. These tags can be easily added through an import of contacts or by manually added by entering a contact's tab.If the label is created, we can apply it to multiple contacts by selecting them and clicking Action - Add label and we are looking for it. Once we selected and update it, this tag would apply to selected contacts.
This method is usually carried out to assign a large group a label so that it can be differentiated from other contacts when sending a commercial communication. We will follow the same steps that are taken when aimport contacts on the platform.
Once we are on the contacts page, we will select the sheet icon with the upward arrow indicating "import" and we will download the sample file indicating in light blue under the name here.
By clicking downloading the example, we will automatically have downloading an excel document in our browser. When we open the excel document, we will encounter a header that asks us for the information to add. In this case we will focus on the Labels. It is important to follow the example given to us by the header, we can see that we can add more than one tag to contacts.
Once we have the information of our contacts inserted into the fields of the file and their corresponding tags, we will return to the intranet and upload our database by clicking on the blue button import. We wait a few minutes as, depending on the volume of contacts in the database, it may take more to upload or less.
We will refill the page and we will be able to see the latest imported contacts, if we click on one of the imported contacts, we will be able to see in the field of "Tags associated with contact" at the bottom, the label we have recently assigned.
Another way to add tags through the contact sheet. If we click on a contact and go to the field of "Tags associated with contact", here we can see a + which allows us to create a label. We will write the label, let us know and proceed to save the changes so that the customer is assigned. If the label has already been created, it will be enough to click and select the option within the different label options already created.
