Where do we start?
Once we are clear about the kind of audience we are going to address, we will go to the menu on the left and in the CRM module, we will click on Segments - Population segment
We will proceed to create a new segment by selecting the blue button "+ Segment". Once the segment configuration page is opened, we will start by filling in the fields that will be useful to us for our segmentation. We would first add the name of our segment and depending on the type of communication we wish to send and to the public we wish to address, we will segment by language, country, gender or age, by origin, labels and interests.
Apart from adding filters to our customers, we will also be able to exclude certain filters. If you wish to send a commercial communication to an audience with a given language but would like to exclude those customers from a specific country or, if you wish to send a communication to the entire database but would like to exclude customers who are also like to exclude those customers who are also like to exclude those customers who speak a particular.
Once the segment is created, we will proceed to save, by clicking on "Create segment".
Once saved, we will return to the segment home page where we can visualize the newly created segment.
Once inside the segment settings, if we click on the menu of Indicators, we can see the metrics of that segment, with the transactions achieved, average and total income earned, as well as opening and click information.
In addition, in Contacts we can see all the contacts included in that segment.
